This series, Alien Paints the Farm!!, was born from a recurring dream of flying low over farms and fields—visions that left me exhilarated. A playful thought followed: what if this perspective belonged to a joyful alien, not just an observer, but a painter assembling fields, crops, and colours into art that humans can only recognize as an aerial view? That thought became the guiding spirit of this mixed media series.

Across five works, the story of a farm unfolds—from the quiet, waiting field, to the rhythm of ploughing, the stirrings of growth, the spread of crops, and finally, the celebration of Holi, when colour blesses the land. Using fibre tilla paper, naturally dyed fabrics, yarn, coloured paper, and acrylics, each piece layers earthly materials to capture both the alien’s imaginative hand and the farm’s cycles of life, hope, and abundance.
